The international stroke day

I just found out that today is the international stroke day. Do you know the most common symptoms of stroke and how to discover them in time? If not, do this test. It's in Swedish so I have to apologies to my English readers.

Today I'm thinking of my mother-in-law that just recovered from a small stroke. Luckily she doesn't have any permanent injuries from it. I'm also thinking of the young mother that also was pregnant when we took care of her at the intensive care unit when I was working at my first job. She had a major stroke and it was no chance for her to recover. They tried to keep her body going so maybe, maybe the baby that she carried could be born. But she didn't make it and her unborn baby died with her. So tragic and sad. I'm especially thinking about her children and her husband that she left behind.

So do the test and you might save a life!

On my way...

To a girls night out. Conversation, food, wine and no interruptions from tiny toddlers!

More about Andrea...

Andreas cold from hell doesn't want to go away. On and off she's been coughing, snotting and sneezing for months. Yesterday I took her to the doctor since she also had a fever. No infection and once again I had to listen to the doctor saying: "You know they can have up til 12 colds a year around this age. The snot can drip and flow for half a year!"

Not that I want her to have an earinfection but the thought of getting some antibiotics and have a healthy girl that does her nights is appealing... Right now she's napping and I'm going to join her...

An update regarding Andréas sleep...

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible.

A week like the good old days?

You might almost think that H and I are living our old childless "go-out-three-times-a-week" life this week. Tonight H is having a guys night out, tomorrow I'm having a girlsnight out and Friday we're recuperating at the Japanese spa Yasuragi. With the tiny detail that these two rascals needs caring...

Today's t-shirt...

Andréa can't stop touching my t-shirt. She's in total chock that her mother, who's unfortunately a bit of a bore when it comes to clothes, wears something else than dark, one-colored clothes. Today I'm wearing a t-shirt from HM:s anti AIDS campaign that they had a few years back and it's more colorful and fun than my usual outfits...

Do you see what the print is supposed to be?
