Way to cold in the water for my taste but I managed to jump in. These two maniacs however were in the water for hours...

Is summer finally here?

Sudden death in a bucket...

Last nights big event was when Andrea found a bird and it's baby drowned in our water bucket in the garden. The task to fish them up and bury them in the forest I quickly delegated to H. The law of nature is hard.

Well if we can't use our new swimming gear in the lake we just have to try them out in the bathtub. It's been a very cold start of summer 2015...

Happy Midsummer!

Tomorrow it's Midsummer Eve which is a very important holiday in Sweden. It's a celebration of summer after the long and dark winter and maybe that's why we year after year have our hopes up for a beautiful, warm and sunny day but the usual scenario is a temperature around 13 degrees and a cloudy/rainy sky. Which also seem to be the case tomorrow, the weather are not suppose to be anything to celebrate but luckily enough we're spending the day with good friends with focus on eating good and socializing. So instead of boring cloudy midsummer pictures I'm giving you these: my beautiful girls at last weeks summerparty at daycare. That happened to be Lovisas last one because in August my little girl starts school...

It's getting there!

Bachelor party two weekends ago, bachelorette party this past weekend, H bought his clothes for the wedding yesterday, I left my wedding dress with a seamstress for the last corrections this past Sunday, today I booked an appointment for my hair on the actual wedding day and this evening I went for a test makeup... And this is what I look like after stressing home, walking 15 minutes in pouring rain and putting two rascals to sleep:

Make up test approved, it's still attached to my face. 

It certainly feels like we're actually getting married pretty soon! Wohoooo!!!

Bachelorette party!

Oh what a nice surprise on the most beautiful day this year. The best of friends, sparkling wine, good food and gifts started my bachelorette party...

When you have so much fun time passes to quickly and just like that 4 hours passed and we took of for the city. At "centralbadet" I enjoyed a whole body cinnamon treatment which was a new and exciting experience, according to the beauty therapist I'm going to loose 2-3 kg within the next few days, I couldn't help laughing... She also gave me a wonderful facial treatment and I felt so relaxed I almost fell asleep...

We continued to East and had a lovely supper: sushi, white wine and chocolate truffles for desert...

After we continued our party with drinks with a view over the royal castle where a certain prince just said yes to his princess.

Thank you so much my dear, dear friends for one of the most amazing days of my life. Friends are forever in mind. <3

2015!

It's going to be an exciting year indeed...

A cold weekend in a warm place.

The girls and me took of for Värmland and my hometown for the weekend. It was suppose to get warm and nice and we were looking forward to the first summer weekend after a terrible cold and windy May. But we were fooled, Swedens nationalday was cold, windy, rainy with a tiny bit of sun in the chilly evening. Good thing we were warm inside from all the love... Now we're back in Stockholm and where greeted by a tired H that was surprised with a bachelor party on Saturday! We had no idea!

My first race...

After my long and stubborn injury that's not healed yet I decided to join my work and run "Blodomloppet". Beautiful but windy evening on Djurgården. After a terrible slow first kilometer with crowds of people making it impossible to run in my own pace I ran 5,2 km in 24:42.
