About dying from exhaustion and April check-up...

Wonderful April ended way to fast and it's with mixed emotions I just realized it's exactly one month left to Stockholm marathon... I ran quite a lot but I don't feel prepared for a marathon at all - why did I ever sign up for this? And didn't that first guy that ran the true marathon like 2500 years ago die of exhaustion?

Anyway here's April's check-up:

January: 104 km
February: 139,2 km
March: 204,2 km, cycling 14,9 km
April: 178,1 km, cycling 267,6 km
Total: 625,4 km running, 282,5 km cycling

We'll just see if I'm dead or alive in one month from now...

Summer weekend with lots of partying...

How about a summer weekend in April! Filled with friends, family and parties! First little Andréa had her birthdayparty which we turned into a gardenparty. Lots of cake, goodies, happy kids and content parents. Thanks to everyone that celebrated Andréa, she had so many nice gifts and she's so proud of all of them. 3 years old and already the proud owner of several dolls, strollers, china sets, clothes and a barbecue! Oh dear...After this H and me left the girls with my family and took of to celebrate a friend turning 50 - great fun!

After all that partying on Saturday I needed to blow of some steam today and also try out some new summer running clothes. 8 km in sunshine wearing short-pants and a chemise... The only thing bugging me was that my white legs blinded me...

Oh what a beautiful weekend indeed, now I have to catch up on some sleep!

What a great weekend! Happy children, wonderful weather, time for renovation, recuperation, running and cuddling with the family. I don't want it to end...

Happy Easter indeed.

3 year check-up!

Andréa had her 3 year check-up Friday afternoon. It was suppose to be about her language development and her eating habits so I was a bit surprised when the nurse let her draw and put pearls on a string. 20 minutes later when the nurse was looking in her papers she realized that Andréa was turning 3 years and not 4 years old... She made Andréa do the test for the 4 year check-up, which she did without any problems so she's doing fine. My little big girl... We celebrated with a "fika" at the local bakery after, Andréa chose the biggest bun and licked of the sugar on top and then she was done.

A great idea!

I was nagging the girls about picking up their clothes that was spread out all over the hallway when Lovisa came up with the greatest idea of the century: "Why don't we just keep our clothes on the floor from now on? That way you don't need to nag us and we don't need to pick up"...
