We're alive!
We're alive and kicking in our new home in the suburb. We're in a state of chaos, living amongst boxes, cables, clothes, unpaid bills, toys and wrapping paper that covers our floors making our home far from childproof...
Last Friday we received all our stuff from Canada, that means our whole household gods that we've been without for over a year. Interesting to discover all our "old" things, some missed and some forgotten...
At our new park around the corner:
And of course, the mandatory visit to IKEA when realizing that we can't live without a showercurtain, a trash bin and the princess cake...
I promise to add more pics off the house when we're a bit more organized, for now: Happy Easter!

Chit chat on a Thursday night.
Yesterday we saw "Searching for sugar man" and I was so tired I could fall asleep standing up but it was so fascinating I watched the whole thing before collapsing. See it if you can, it's certainly one of a kind.
Now I'm waiting for tomorrow when the big move is taking place. I'm feeling upset in a weird way - excited, happy and so tired that I could sleep for a decade and it's all a bit confusing. I kind a feel like crying, laughing and sleeping at the same time... OK, I'm not making any sense, bottom line - my next blog post will be from a very nice little house in a suburb in Stockholm!!!
To my Swedish readers...

Totally blown away.
This is how I look like after running 8 km on an icy track in the forest in -10 degrees late last evening.
A crappy picture but one can tell that I feel really good. And once again I'm struck by how good running is for me. It helps me decompress after a long day, get my thoughts straighten out from the blurry mess they usually gathers in, breath in fresh cold air and leave ugly feelings behind. I'm so happy I found my way to blow off steam and keep me in shape.

No time.
It's hard to find time for blogging in between working, picking up children, cooking, cleaning, picking up a million toys, solving conflicts regarding what's mine and yours, socializing with wonderful friends, doing groceries for 6 adults and 3 children... Anyway here's peek from the past week that went by way to fast as usual...
H and me went on a date night, one of many benefits of living with our friends, its easy to get a babysitter. We played bowling, ate steaks and talked.
Saturday we went to the forest, made a fire and recharged our batteries. Fresh air makes you happy and tired...
Now Monday morning and we already stayed 1,5 week out of 3 at our friends place and we are already talking about how much we will miss each other when this adventure is over.

Tonight's the night!
I didn't run for over two weeks. A cold, a move and to much stress are the reasons and once again I realize how much I need to run. To run makes me feel better, be stronger, have more patience, be in a better mood and sleep better. That's why I'm so happy that my friends live close to the woods, that's where you'll find me tonight - running.

Change...
Change is something that most people fear but often turns out to be good and you come out of it with new experiences and maybe a bit stronger. To move in with good friends is wonderful, funny, challenging and totally "unswedish". Most people that hear that we moved in with friends looks at me with a surprised and sceptic face and seems to be questioning the whole thing. But why is moving in with friends more weired than moving in with family? I mean you choose your friend but not your family...
Children are more open and the girls are thrilled to be in this stage of change and are probably going to come out stronger and smarter. Just like us.
